Telecommunications Circuit. A new Telco fiber facility will be required at the North Country Solar Collector Station for protection systems and data transmittal. The new fiber facility shall provide: (1) DS1 circuit from the North Country Solar Collector Station to Boonville Substation; and • One (1) DS1 multiprotocol label switching and virtual private network (“MPLS VPN”) circuit for energy management system (“EMS”) - remote terminal unit (“RTU”). For protection systems and data transmittal, the Interconnection Customer shall install at least one (1) single mode, all-dielectric self-supporting (“ADSS”), 24 strand fiber optic cable between the North Country Solar Collector Station and the PCO (two fiber circuits are preferred). The Connecting Transmission Owner will run fiber from the PCO to the control house in Boonville Station. The Interconnection Customer shall install a serial to Single Mode (“SM”) optical media converter to convert the DX-940 serial output of the RTU to an optical signal. The Interconnection Customer is responsible for ordering the fiber facility required at the North Country Solar Collector Station. The ICIFs shall be designed in accordance with the Connecting Transmission Owner’s System Protection and Interconnection Customer Attachment Facilities Electric Installation Specification for North Country Solar Project (“Project Specific Specifications”) provided as Appendix C to the Part 1 Facilities Study for the Small Generating Facility.
