Common use of TELEPHONE COMMUNICATIONS Clause in Contracts

TELEPHONE COMMUNICATIONS. For our mutual protection and to enable us to provide better service to you, we may monitor or record any of our telephone conversations with you. If we do record, we do not have to keep the recordings, unless required by law. When you give us your mobile phone number, you authorize us to contact you at that number concerning all of your accounts. Your consent allows us to use text messaging, artificial or pre-recorded voice messages, and automatic dialing technology for account service calls, but not for telemarketing, sales calls, or debt collection, notwithstanding any state or federal law or regulation that would otherwise prevent us from telephoning you. For your convenience, we may ask you to respond to our texts to you to authenticate items debited from your accounts that suggest a risk of fraud or identity theft, possible breaches of your personal information, steps you can take to prevent or remedy harm caused by data security breaches, or actions needed to arrange for receipt of pending money transfers.
