Public Telephones. As soon as practicable but no later than one hundred-fifty (150) days after the effective date of this Agreement, the Hospital will provide the following:
a. TTY's in public areas. The Hospital will make a TTY device available wherever a telephone is made available to the public (whether public pay telephone, public closed circuit telephones, or otherwise). To satisfy this provision, the Hospital can permanently install the required TTY's or make available a sufficient number of portable TTY's. Standards §§ 4.1, 4.31.9. Each such TTY, whether permanently installed or portable, shall comply with the Standards set forth in Schedule A, attached.
b. TTY's required in specific locations. The Hospital will provide a TTY at each public telephone location in or adjacent to an emergency department, recovery room, or waiting room. Standards §§ 4.1, 4.31.9. To satisfy this provision, the Hospital can permanently install the required TTY's or make available a sufficient number of portable TTY's. Each such TTY, whether permanently installed or portable, shall comply with the Standards set forth in Schedule A.
c. Shelves and outlets. Wherever portable TTY's are made available as an alternative to installed TTY's (at emergency departments, recovery rooms, and waiting rooms, and where there are banks of four or more public telephones), and wherever there is a bank of three or more public telephones, the Hospital will provide shelves and electrical outlets that comply with the Standards set forth in Schedule A.
d. Signs indicating the location of TTY's.
i. Wherever public telephones are available but TTY's are not permanently installed, the Hospital will post signs complying with the Standards set forth in Schedule A. Such signs will indicate the location of the nearest portable or permanently installed TTY's; and
ii. Wherever TTY's are permanently installed, the Hospital will post signs complying with the Standards set forth in Schedule A to indicate their location.
e. Hearing aid compatible telephones. The Hospital will ensure that no less than twenty-five (25) percent of all of its public telephones are hearing aid compatible, plus at least one public telephone at each of the following locations: in or adjacent to emergency departments, recovery rooms, or waiting rooms. The Hospital will ensure that hearing aid compatible telephones are dispersed among all public telephones throughout the Hospital. Standards § 4.1, 4.31.5.

Public Telephones. As soon as practicable but no later than sixty (60) days after the Effective Date of this Settlement Agreement, the Hospital will provide the following: TTY’s in public areas. The Hospital will make one portable TTY device available for use in conjunction with any public phone for outgoing calls. The Hospital currently has only one public phone for outgoing calls, located adjacent to the switchboard. The portable TTY shall fully comply with §§ 4.30 and 4.31 of the Standards. Shelves and outlets. The Hospital’s single public phone for use for outgoing calls has, and the Hospital shall maintain, shelves and electrical outlets that comply with § 4.31.9 of the Standards. Signs indicating the location of TTY’s. Where the public telephone for outgoing calls is available but TTY’s are not permanently installed, the Hospital will post signs complying with the Standards. Such signs will indicate the location of the nearest portable TTY; and
Public Telephones. (1) The telephone is inaccessible because it does not have volume control and the highest operable part of the telephone is 58 inches above the finished floor. Provide an accessible telephone with a clear floor space of at least 30 inches by 48 inches that allows either a forward or parallel approach by a person using a wheelchair such that no obstructions impede approaches to the telephone; with the highest operable part of the telephone mounted no more than 48 inches above the floor for a front approach or no more than 54 inches above the floor for a side approach; that are hearing aid compatible and have a volume control mechanism; with telephone directory, if provided, located between 15 and 48 inches above the finished floor for a front approach or between 9 and 54 inches above the finished floor for a side approach; and with a cord of at least 29 inches long from the telephone to the handset. Standards §§ 4.1.3(17), 4.31.
Public Telephones. Within sixty (60) calendar days after the Effective Date of this Agreement, MHS shall provide TTY/TDD devices at public telephones serving emergency, recovery, or waiting rooms. In addition, MHS shall provide at least one TTY/TDD device at all locations where there are four (4) or more public telephones. MHS may install the required TTY/TDDs or make available a sufficient number of portable TTY/TDDs. Wherever portable TTY/TDDs are made available, MHS shall provide shelves and electrical outlets compliant with ADA accessibility standards. Wherever public telephones are available but TTY/TDDs are not permanently installed, MHS shall post signs indicating the location of the nearest portable or installed TTY/TDD. Wherever TTY/TDDs are permanently installed, MHS shall post signs indentifying them and indicating their location.
Public Telephones. As soon as pract icable but no later t han ninety (90) days after the effective date of this Agreement, St. Luke’s will provide the following:
Public Telephones. Within sixty (60) calendar days after the Effective Date of this Agreement, UUHC shall provide TTY (also known as TDD) devices at public telephones serving emergency, recovery, or waiting rooms. In addition, UUHC shall provide at least one TTY device at all locations where there are four (4) or more public telephones. UUHC may install the required TTY’s or make available a sufficient number of portable TTY’s. Wherever portable TTY’s are made available, UUHC shall provide shelves and electrical outlets compliant with ADA accessibility standards. Wherever public telephones are available but TTY’s are not permanently installed, UUHC shall post signs indicating the location of the nearest portable or installed TTY. Wherever TTY’s are permanently installed, UUHC shall post signs, identifying them and indicating their location.
Public Telephones. As soon as practicable but no later than ninety (90) days after the effective date of this Agreement, Silver Hill Hospital will provide the following:
A. TTY's in public areas. Silver Hill Hospital will make a TTY device available wherever a public telephone is made available (whether public pay telephone, public closed circuit telephones, or otherwise). To satisfy this provision, Silver Hill Hospital can permanently install the required TTY's or make available a sufficient number of portable TTY's. Standards §§ 4.1, 4.31.9. Each such TTY, whether permanently installed or portable, shall comply with the Standards set forth in Schedule A, attached. B. Shelves and outlets. Wherever portable TTY's are made available as an alternative to installed TTY's, and wherever there is a bank of three or more public telephones, Silver Hill Hospital will provide shelves and electrical outlets that comply with the Standards set forth in Schedule A. C. Signs indicating the location of TTY's.

Public Telephones. Within sixty (60) calendar days of the Effective Date of this Agreement, ADC shall provide a TTY (also known as TDD) device at each of its locations.
Public Telephones. All vertical and horizontal surfaces shall be clean and free of dirt, dust, smudges or streaks.
Public Telephones. The Employer agrees to make available to employees at each facil- ity public telephones, or a secure Company telephone, if a public telephone is unavailable, for use by employees during their off duty and break times to make phone calls. It is agreed that any long dis- tance personal calls will be either collect or put on a personal call- ing card.
