Common use of Temporary Assignments – Current Employees Clause in Contracts

Temporary Assignments – Current Employees. An employee who is temporarily assigned to a higher classification will be paid an appropriate amount greater than their current pay but no less than $1.00 (one dollar) per hour. The employee is entitled to return to the employee’s prior position at the completion of the temporary assignment at their original rate of pay.
