Common use of Tenant's Subleases Clause in Contracts

Tenant's Subleases. If Landlord elects to terminate this Lease on account of any Event of Default, then Landlord may: (i) terminate any sublease and any license, concession, or other consensual arrangement for possession entered into by Tenant and affecting any of the Demised Properties which is not the subject of a nondisturbance agreement executed by Landlord; or (ii) choose to succeed to Tenant’s interest in such arrangement. Absent a nondisturbance agreement between Landlord and such subtenant, no payment by a subtenant with respect to a sublease shall entitle such subtenant to possession of any Demised Property after termination of this Lease and Landlord’s election to terminate the sublease by the subtenant. If Landlord elects to succeed to Tenant’s interest in such arrangement, then Tenant shall, as of the date of notice given by Landlord to Tenant of such election, have no further right to, or interest in, any rent or other consideration receivable under that arrangement.
