Term of Appointment for College Chairs. The term of appointment will parallel the contractual period of faculty serving for the regular academic year. It shall be the prerogative of the administration to extend the contract as required to ensure appropriate service to the students of the college. Appointment to the position of college chair shall coincide with the academic year and not exceed a term of three years. Each college chair shall be evaluated by their respective faculty once each year. A college chair may be removed before the end of their term by mutual agreement of the administration and college faculty. Xxxxxx can only be awarded as a faculty member of the college and not as chair of the college.
