Term of the Head's appointment. The Head shall be appointed for a term of three years, commencing between June and August at the area's discretion. The Head shall receive a formative evaluation during the first year and a summative evaluation in the fall of the last year of the appointment. At the end of the first year of the first appointment, both the Xxxx of the area and the department shall confirm whether the Head shall continue for the remaining years of the appointment.
