Common use of Terminating Unit Members Clause in Contracts

Terminating Unit Members. Regular unit members who have worked six (6) calendar months or more and who resign, retire, or are placed on extended unpaid leave, shall be paid for vacation earned but unused at their current rate of pay. Unit members on extended unpaid leave may request that their accrued vacation not be paid during the period of the approved leave.
