Termination at Expiry Date Sample Clauses

Termination at Expiry Date. This Agreement shall terminate on the Expiry Date. Prior to the Expiry Date the Parties shall commence negotiations for an extension of the license period for a further period of thirty (30) years unless PQA intends to operate the Terminal itself after the Expiry Date. No later than thirty six months before the Expiry Date, PQA shall advise QICT of its decision regarding the operation of the Terminal following the Expiry Date. In the event PQA does not intend to operate the Terminal by itself after the Expiry Date it shall commence the negotiations for renewal of the concession with QICT within fifteen days from the date of PQA notifying its intention to QICT in writing. In case Parties do not agree to the terms of extension PQA shall invite competitive bids for the operation of the Terminal from pre-qualified parties with suitable experience of operating container terminals comparable with the Terminal. Provided however that the terms offered to third parties will not be more favorable than those offered to QICT. If PQA has to offer more favorable terms in order to attract said third parties to Port Xxxxxxxx Xxx Xxxxx then QICT shall have the first right to conclude the negotiations with PQA on the basis of such more favorable terms.
