Common use of Terms of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders Clause in Contracts

Terms of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders. All subcontracts and purchase orders with Subcontractors shall afford Design/Builder rights against the Subcontractor which correspond to those rights afforded to Owner against Design/Builder herein, including those rights of Contract suspension, termination, and stop Work orders as set forth herein. It is expressly agreed that no relationship of agency, employment, contract, obligation or otherwise shall be created between Owner and any Subcontractor of Design/Builder and a provision to this effect shall be inserted into all agreements between Design/Builder and its Subcontractors.

It is expressly agreed that no relationship of agency, employment, contract, obligation or otherwise shall be created between Owner the Municipality and any Subcontractor of Design/Builder the Contractor and a provision to this effect shall be inserted into all agreements between Design/Builder the Contractor and its Subcontractors.
