The Service Person’s Responsibilities Sample Clauses

The Service Person’s Responsibilities. The Service person will be responsible for paying the total rent for the PRS property direct to their landlord or rental agent, either solely or jointly with other named tenants on the tenancy agreement. If Service personnel have any issues or complaints about their property they should talk to their landlord or rental agent. The MOD is not responsible for the maintenance, standard or condition of the rental property, although the Accommodation Support Cell can signpost Service personnel to guidance on dealing with landlords. Landlords should not seek unscheduled or disproportionate annual increases in rent. Should this happen, and a Service person finds themself in financial hardship due to the new rental cost being disproportionately higher than the Rental Payment, they are to seek advice from the Accommodation Support Cell who can signpost them to the relevant help and advice available. If the landlord instructs the Service person to vacate, support will be provided in accordance with Notice to Leave/Vacate/Quit of Eviction from a PRS property as set out in Part 5.
