Three-Phase Synchronous Generators. The generating facility circuit breakers shall be 3‑phase devices with electronic or electromechanical control. The Seller shall be responsible for properly synchronizing its generating facility with the Company System by means of either a manual or automatic synchronizing function. Automatic synchronizing is required for all synchronous generators which have an short circuit current rating ("SCCR") greater than 5%. For a generating facility whose SCCR exceeds 5%, the Facility shall provide protective equipment suitable for detecting loss of synchronism and automatically disconnecting the generating facility from the Company System. Unless otherwise agreed to between the Company and Seller, synchronous generators shall automatically regulate power factor, not voltage, while operating in parallel with the Company System.
