Common use of Tier 1 Interruptible Gas Clause in Contracts

Tier 1 Interruptible Gas. Seller and Buyer shall Schedule, or cause to be Scheduled, at the Delivery Point(s) each Gas Day on an interruptible basis a quantity of Gas equal to the DCQ. Either Party may, at its sole discretion and without liability, interrupt, in whole or in part, the Scheduling of Gas at any time for any reason upon prior notice to the other Party specifying the amount and duration of the interruption sufficient to allow the notified Party to make changes to its Transporter nominations in accordance with its Transporter's procedures; provided, in no event shall any interruption be made upon less than twelve hours prior notice unless otherwise agreed. No notice of interruption may be retroactive to a prior time.
