Common use of Time Claims Clause in Contracts

Time Claims. Employees will be advised promptly in writing through the proper officer, with the reason, if time claimed is not allowed in full. In case time is disputed, the time not in dispute will be paid in the current pay period. Time cheques will be issued upon request for any shortage of eight (8) hours or more.

Time Claims. Employees will be advised promptly in writing through the proper officer, with the reason, if time claimed is not allowed in full. In case time is disputed, the time not in dispute will be paid in the current pay period. Time cheques will be issued upon request for any shortage of eight (8) hours or more. Should a pay error occur due to an employee’s failure to punch in/out on any given shift, and not reporting it immediately to their supervisor for correction; the employee will be required to have the correction made on the following payroll and not be paid out prior to then.
