Time Off for Representatives. (a) A representative shall obtain the permission of his/her immediate supervisor before leaving work to investigate a grievance, to meet with local management for the purpose of dealing with grievances and to attend meetings called by management. Such permission shall not be unreasonably denied. (b) The representative shall make every reasonable effort to report back to his/her supervisor before resuming normal duties. (c) Where an employee and his/her representative are involved in the process of a grievance, they shall be granted time off with pay.
