Timely Filing for Behavioral Health. (BH) Claims. The MCOP must accept claims for BH services described in OAC Chapter 5160-27 for at least 180 calendar days after the date of service and no longer than 365 calendar days after the date of service. An MCOP may negotiate timely filing requirements within these limitations through their contract with the BH provider.
