Investigatory Leave. The Appointing Authority/designee may place an employee who is the subject of a disciplinary investigation on an investigatory leave with pay provided a reasonable basis exists to warrant such leave.

Investigatory Leave. The University may place an ASE on Investigatory Leave with full pay without prior notice, in order to review or investigate allegations of misconduct or dereliction of duty which, in the judgment of the University, warrant immediately relieving the ASE from all work duties and/or require removing the ASE from the premises. Investigatory leave shall not be considered a form of corrective action. The University will immediately, provide the ASE and her/his representative with written confirmation of the terms and reasons for the Investigatory Leave.

Investigatory Leave. The Appointing Authority may place a supervisor who is the subject of an investigation on an investigatory leave with pay. The Appointing Authority shall as soon as practicable upon placing an employee on investigatory leave, notify the employee in writing of the reason(s) for such action. At the supervisor’s request, four (4) years after an investigatory leave ends, the investigatory leave letter shall be removed from the supervisor’s personnel file.
Investigatory Leave a. The University may place a worker on paid investigatory leave in order to review or investigate allegations of conduct, which in the University's view, would warrant relieving the worker immediately from all work duties. An investigatory leave shall not be considered discipline as defined in this Article.
b. Unpaid leaves are used only for allegations of serious violations and shall not exceed one week.
Investigatory Leave. 16.1 When an employee has been placed on “Investigatory Leave”, pending the outcome of the Employer’s investigation, the employee will be paid the basic rate of pay of their substantive position.
Investigatory Leave. The University may place an employee on investigatory leave without prior notice in order to review or investigate allegations of conduct which, in the University's view, would warrant relieving the employee immediately from all work duties. If upon conclusion of the investigation neither suspension without pay nor dismissal is determined to be appropriate, the employee shall be paid for the leave. If suspension without pay or dismissal is determined to be appropriate, up to fifteen (15) work days of the investigatory leave period may be without pay, provided the notice provisions and the employee response provisions in sections D. and E. below have been followed.
Investigatory Leave. 1. The University may place an employee on paid investigatory leave without prior notice in order to review or investigate allegations of employee misconduct which warrant relieving the employee immediately from all work duties and removing the employee from the premises.
2. The investigatory leave must be confirmed in writing to the employee normally not later than three working days after the leave is effective. The confirmation must include the reasons for and the expected duration of the leave.
3. On conclusion of the investigation, the employee shall be informed in writing of the disciplinary action, if any, to be taken. If a disciplinary suspension is imposed, up to 15 work days of the investigatory leave may be converted to an unpaid disciplinary suspension provided the notice and employee responses provision of this Article have been followed before the final decision is made.
