Common use of Times for Rendering Services Clause in Contracts

Times for Rendering Services. 2.1 Specific time periods and/or specific dates for the performance of ENGINEER’s Services are set forth in Exhibit A. 2.2 If, through no fault of Engineer, such periods of time or dates are changed, or the orderly and continuous progress of Engineer’s services is impaired, or Engineer’s services are delayed or suspended, then the time for completion of Engineer’s services, and the rates and amounts of Engineer’s compensation, shall be adjusted equitably. 2.3 If Owner authorizes changes in the scope, extent, or character of the Project or Engineer’s services, then the time for completion of Engineer’s services, and the rates and amounts of Engineer’s compensation, shall be adjusted equitably. 2.4 Owner shall make decisions and carry out its other responsibilities in a timely manner so as not to delay the Engineer’s performance of its services. If ENGINEER's services are delayed or suspended in whole or in part by OWNER for more than three months through no fault of ENGINEER, ENGINEER shall be entitled to equitable adjustment of the schedule and of rates and amounts of compensation provided for elsewhere in this Agreement to reflect, among other things, reasonable costs incurred by ENGINEER in connection with such delay or suspension and reactivation.
