Further to an agreement between the employer and the union representative representing a majority of the employees concerned, the rest period scheduled for the middle of the afternoon may be eliminated to allow the employees to leave 30 minutes before the end of the standard working day. In this case, the employee shall receive 8 hours’ pay per working day.
