TRADE JURISDICTION. 4.01 This Agreement covers the rates of pay, fringe benefits, rules and working conditions of all Employees of the Employer engaged in but not limited to: (a) the building or laying of what is known as "built-up" or flat roofs, whether by hot or cold application; (b) the laying and covering of "steep" and similar roof frames with "unitized" roofing materials such as tile, slate, asbestos, wood shingles, shakes, etc. and all grouting connected with same; (c) all application of insulation and insulation board in connection with roofs; (d) the application of roof and promenade deck waterproofing with modern plastic coating materials, etc.; (e) all spudding, dismantling, repairs to roofs, re-roofing and maintenance of roofs; (f) the laying of promenade tile, wooden paving blocks, application of styrofoam batting, etc. where these are bedded in asphalt or similar substances; (g) the damp and waterproofing of floors, foundations, pipes, tanks, etc. with such materials as pitch, tar, asphalt, plastic, bitumen, etc.; (h) all caulking where its function is waterproofing and where it is performed as a specialty; (i) the operation of all power equipment such as hoists, tankers, pumps, etc. associated with roofing; (j) the application of roof decking materials such as cement asbestos panels (not metal deck); (k) the handling, loading, unloading, hoisting, rigging, moving, etc. on the jobsite or in the shop of all materials relevant to the foregoing; and finally;

(b) the laying all pollution control systems, dust collecting and covering of "steep" control systems, air-slide, grain spouting, material blowing, air-veyor and similar roof frames with "unitized" roofing materials such as tile, slate, asbestos, wood shingles, shakes, etc. and all grouting connected with sameother air systems;
(c) all application heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems and all other forms of insulation air handling systems regardless of material used, including the setting of all equipment and insulation board all reinforcements and hangers in connection with roofstherewith;
(d) all lagging over insulation and all duct lining;
(e) testing and balancing of all air-handling equipment, including air hydronics, electrical and sound equipment and duct work;
(f) all metal working aspects of the application showcase, display, neon and metal sign industry;
(g) all metal cabinets, custom built tables, counters, fixtures, etc., normally associated with hospital and kitchen equipment work;
(h) all sheet metal cladding, sheeting and decking regardless of roof the type of structural frame involved;
(i) the placing and promenade deck waterproofing with modern plastic coating materialsinstallation of standard metal production items such as metal shelving, metal lockers, window frames, toilet partitions, ceiling pans, etc.;
(e) all spudding, dismantling, repairs to roofs, re-roofing and maintenance of roofs;
(f) the laying of promenade tile, wooden paving blocks, application of styrofoam batting, etc. where these are bedded in asphalt or similar substances;
(g) the damp and waterproofing of floors, foundations, pipes, tanks, etc. with such materials as pitch, tar, asphalt, plastic, bitumen, etc.;
(h) all caulking where its function is waterproofing and where it is performed as a specialty;
(i) the operation of all power equipment such as hoists, tankers, pumps, etc. associated with roofing;
(j) the application preparation of roof decking materials such as cement asbestos panels (not metal deck);all on-site sketches used in fabrication and erection, including those taken from original architectural and engineering drawings or sketches.
(k) the handling, loading, unloading, hoisting, all rigging, movinglifting and placing of sheet metal trade materials on the jobsite;
(l) all sheet metal gutters, flashing, copings, vents, etc. ., associated with the roofing industry; and green roofing industry.
(m) solar heating and cooling systems and all integral equipment included; and
(n) down loading of Computer Aided manufacturing (CAM) Systems that are located on the jobsite or Shop Floor and the physical work related with such equipment on the Shop Floor; and
(o) all other work included in the shop jurisdictional claims of all materials relevant to the foregoing; and finally;Sheet Metal Workers International Association.
