Transfer of Employee to Another Classification. (a) Should it become necessary for the Company to transfer an employee from one job category to a different job category for any reason involving a layoff or cut-back in the work force or because of physical disability, the employee shall receive the wage rate for the position he was transferred to, providing such a transfer exceeds thirty (30) calendar days. (b) In the event of a technological change which could result in a transfer to another position the employee shall receive his/her regular wage rate for the category he was transferred to whichever is the greater.
