Common use of Transfer of Service and Seniority Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Service and Seniority. For employees who transfer and for employees whose status is changed from full-time to part-time shall receive credit for his/her full service and seniority. An employee whose status is changed from part-time to full-time shall receive credit for seniority and service on the basis of one (1) year equals 1725 hours worked, and will be enrolled in the employee benefit plans subject to meeting any waiting period or other requirements of those plans. In no case shall an employee be credited with more than 1725 hours per year.
