Transfer of Tenure. (a) Tenured FIU employees who transfer within FIU and who are employed in the same or similar discipline may transfer their tenure if a vacancy exists and they are offered employment through the normal hiring process. For tenure-earning faculty, the amount of prior FIU service creditable toward tenure within FIU may, by mutual agreement, be all or part of such service.
