Common use of Transfers During the School Year Clause in Contracts

Transfers During the School Year. At least two (2) days of release time shall be given the affected employee in order to complete the move and become oriented to the new building if the involuntary transfer occurs within ten (10) days before the school year starts or during the school year. For any employee involuntarily transferred during a school year, he/she shall receive at least five (5) school days notice before reporting to a new building. The employee, at his/her option, may waive this provision.
