Common use of Transportation Expenses Clause in Contracts

Transportation Expenses. a. When an employee is required to report for work and reports under the conditions described in paragraphs 28.05(c), and 28.06(a), and is required to use transportation services other than normal public transportation services, the employee shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred as follows:

(a) When an employee is required to report for work and reports under the conditions described in paragraphs 28.05(c), and 28.06(a), clause 43.01 and is required to use transportation services other than normal public transportation services, the employee shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred for parking and for transportation as follows: i. mileage allowance at the rate normally paid to an employee when authorized by the Centre to use his or her automobile, when the employee travels by means of his or her own automobile; Or ii. Reasonable taxi fare upon presentation of a receipt.
