Common use of Travel Pay Clause in Contracts

Travel Pay. Employees shall be compensated for travel time as authorized under 5 CFR 550 and 551, the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 as amended, and Federal regulations. Normally, employees will not be expected to travel without being eligible for compensation. However, if the employee is expected to travel on Government business without entitlement to compensation, he or she will be notified in advance and provided the reason(s).
