Common use of Traveling and Expenses Clause in Contracts

Traveling and Expenses. Any occasion when employees are required to report at the regular starting time to a work location which is not a reporting station or not within the Free Zone, each employee required to do so shall be paid at the rate of forty (40) cents per direct line kilometer for traveling time, and if transportation is not provided by the Employer, and additional twelve and on-half (12 ½) cents per direct line kilometer will be paid for traveling expenses. Where applicable, these allowances will be paid both to and from the location in question.
