14.6.1 Trip selection shall occur after last student AM drop-off (currently 9:30 AM on a normal school day or one (1) or two (2) hours later in the event of a one (1) hour or two (2) hour delay). If we have a calamity day, Trip Board selection will be the next school day.
14.6.2 The Trip Boards will be handled by the Dispatcher under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor or non-bargaining-unit designee. The Transportation Supervisor and/or non-bargaining-unit designee shall attend the actual trip selection. For anticipated trips, including substitute the dispatcher will have all trip sheets with starting and summer runsending times completed prior to trip board. S/he will call out the drivers’ names one (1) at a time and each driver when called will review the trip sheets and place his/her name on the trip(s) s/he wants. Once each driver makes his/her choice, shall be posted at s/he will leave the bus garage.
