Common use of Trip Cancellations Clause in Contracts

Trip Cancellations. a. If a trip is cancelled after the trip has been awarded, the affected driver will be placed on the following week’s Field Trips, 8-Hour Trips, or Overnight Trip list (whichever is applicable). If multiple trips are cancelled in a given week, the affected drivers will be placed on the following week’s applicable list in the order in which the trips were cancelled. For example, the first affected driver will be given his/her first selection the following week, followed by the second affected driver, etc., until all affected drivers are provided a replacement run, followed by filling the remaining runs based on the regular rotation list.
