TRS One Year Plan. If an eligible certified employee gives the Board an irrevocable letter of retirement prior to May 1st, stating that s/he shall retire at the end of the next school year, the certified employee will be removed from the salary schedule and for the final year of employment, the certified employee’s TRS creditable earning shall be adjusted to reflect a six percent (6%) increase over the certified employee’s TRS creditable earnings for the prior year of employment.
