Unauthorized Releases Clause Samples

The Unauthorized Releases clause defines the rules and consequences regarding the disclosure of confidential or sensitive information without proper authorization. Typically, this clause outlines what constitutes an unauthorized release, specifies the parties' obligations to prevent such disclosures, and may detail the steps to be taken if a breach occurs, such as notification requirements or remedies. Its core practical function is to protect proprietary or confidential information by deterring unauthorized sharing and providing a framework for addressing breaches, thereby minimizing potential harm to the affected party.
