Examples of Unauthorized Absence in a sentence
Unauthorized Absence - Absence from duty without leave, failure to report after leave of absence has expired or after such leave of absence has been disapproved or canceled by proper administrative authority.
Unauthorized Absence means the failure of an employee to report for duty at the time and place designated without previously having requested and been granted leave by an appropriate authority.
Employees who are absent or tardy without authorization can be docked (not-paid) for the time in question and then be reported as Unauthorized Absence (“UA”) on the department "Payroll Worksheet" which is submitted to the payroll department.
I further understand that if I am charged with or convicted of any criminal offense while under supervision, including but not limited to Escape, Unauthorized Absence from Home Detention or Failure to Return to Lawful Detention, I may be sanctioned, violated, terminated and / or arrested.
