Underground Operations Employees - Required for Emergency Standby. The Employer agrees to give first consideration to those employees in the Branch volunteering to stand by to take call duty, providing a sufficient number of Branch employees have volunteered who are acceptable to the Superintendent. If no Branch employees, or an insufficient number of acceptable Branch employees have volunteered then the Superintendent may designate Branch employees to take such duty, or make up the difference as the case may be.
