Uniform Change or Modification. The Employer shall pay for the first issue of any change in, or modification of, the prescribed uniform announced and effective after January 1, 1998. Changes in the prescribed uniform required as a result of promotion to or from the position of Lieutenant shall not be subject to payment by the Employer.
