Uniform Maintenance Allowance for Correctional Officers and Institutional Security Specialists. The state will provide unit correctional officers and institutional security specialists who are furnished and required to wear a uniform, a maintenance allowance in the amount of $250.00 annually, unless laundry and dry-cleaning facilities are available and the service is furnished by the agency without cost to the employee; in addition, such correctional officers and institutional security specialists shall receive a shoe allowance in the amount of $75.00 annually.
