Common use of UNIFORMS AND APRONS Clause in Contracts

UNIFORMS AND APRONS. 21.01 Kitchen staff shall be provided with aprons free of charge, if such aprons must be worn during work. 21.02 Uniform allowance shall be paid to employees in accordance with the following schedule: Full-time: $12.00 per month Part-time: $6.00 per month Effective January 1, 2015 the uniform allowance will increase to thirteen dollars ($13.00) per month for full time staff and seven dollars ($7.00) per month for part-time staff. Uniform allowance shall be paid in a lump sum once a year and added to the employee's paycheque during the month of October. A part-time employee who regularly works less than four (4) shifts in a two (2) week period shall not receive uniform allowance.
