Common use of Union Activities Restrictions Clause in Contracts

Union Activities Restrictions. If the Contract Amount is over $50,000, this section is applicable. Contractor agrees that no JBE funds received under this Agreement will be used to assist, promote or deter union organizing during the Term. If Contractor incurs costs, or makes expenditures to assist, promote or deter union organizing, Contractor will maintain records sufficient to show that no JBE funds were used for those expenditures. Contractor will provide those records to the Attorney General upon request. Domestic Partners, Spouses, Gender, and Gender Identity Discrimination. If the Contract Amount is $100,000 or more, this section is applicable. Contractor is in compliance with, and throughout the Term will remain in compliance with: (i) PCC 10295.3 which places limitations on contracts with contractors who discriminate in the provision of benefits on the basis of marital or domestic partner status; and (ii) PCC 10295.35, which places limitations on contracts with contractors that discriminate in the provision of benefits on the basis of an employee’s or dependent’s actual or perceived gender identity.
