The Board will deduct from pay of each employee who so authorizes it to do so the required amount of fees for the payment of Union dues and voluntary political deductions (COPE) dues on a bi-weekly basis. The authorization shall comply with the provisions of the law and shall be revocable between September 1 and 10 of each year.

The Board will deduct from the pay of each bargaining unit employee who in writing so authorizes it to do so the required amount of fees for the payment of Union dues and voluntary political deductions (COPE) dues Dues on a bi-weekly regular basis. The Union will notify the Library of the amount required for Union dues. Union Dues will be deducted from each pay and, absent unusual circumstances, will be remitted to the Union no later than seven (7) calendar days following the deduction.
