UNION LEAVE FOR ADVOCACY DAYS. Prior to the start of Washington’s legislative session, the union and employer will meet and discuss their perspectives on the state of long-term care and possible shared political goals. The employer shall grant up to four (4) paid shifts per year for employees to engage in public advocacy for shared goals in the improvement of long-term care. The union will provide at least thirty (30) days advance notice, and the employer shall make a good faith effort to release as many of the potential attendees from scheduled work as possible.
