Local Union Leave. Upon written request, leave of absence without pay shall be granted to employees for Union business in accordance with the following provisions:
i) In bargaining units with up to 12 members, no more than one (1) employee shall be on leave at any one time. In bargaining units with 13 or more members, no more than two (2) employees shall be on leave at any one time.
ii) The aggregate total number of days of leave, including Provincial Committee Leave, will not exceed sixty-five (65) working days in a calendar year.
iii) The Union will give at least four (4) weeks’ written notice where practicable.
iv) Replies to request for leaves of absence shall be given within two

Local Union Leave. The Employer agrees to grant leaves of absence without pay to employees selected by the Union to attend Union business, including conferences and conventions. The Union will give at least four (4) weeks written notice where practicable. Replies to request for leaves of absence shall be given within two (2) calendar weeks of receipt of the request. Permission for such leave will not be unreasonably withheld. No more than one (1) employee from the full-time and part-time bargaining units combined shall be on Leave from the Home at any one time. The aggregate total number of days of leave, including Provincial Committee Leave, will not exceed sixty-five

ii) For such leave of absence, the Union must give at least four (4) weeks advance notice, in writing, to the Employer unless impossible.

Local Union Leave. Written requests for leave of absence with pay to attend Union meetings, shall be granted, provided that no more than three (3) employees are off at any one time, and that fourteen (14) days clear notice has been given to the Employer.
(i) Replies to request for leaves of absence, within the current posted schedule, shall be given within two (2) calendar weeks of receipt of the request.
(ii) Permission for such leave will not be unreasonably withheld.
Local Union Leave. The Employer agrees to grant leaves of absence without pay to no more at one time than one (1) employee selected by the Union to attend Union business, including conferences and conventions. The Union will give at least four (4) weeks’ notice when possible that such leave is required.
