UNION PRESIDENT’S PAID LEAVE OF ABSENCE. (a) The Corporation agrees to grant a leave of absence with pay, benefits and accumulation of seniority to the Union President of CUPE Local 1287 for the term of elected office. It is understood that the individual continues to be covered under the provisions of the collective agreement during this period of time, except as otherwise noted herein.
