– UNION REPRESENTATION AND ACTIVITY. 4.01 The Union shall notify the Company in writing of the names of its Executive Offices, Bargaining Committee members and Stewards before the Company shall be required to recognize them. a) The Company recognizes the right of the Union to select two (2) employees who have attained seniority, to act as a Bargaining Committee who, along with a full-time Representative of the Union, will meet with the Company to discuss matters which are properly the subject of negotiation concerning amendments to the current Agreement and proposals for the renewal and modification of the Agreement. Also, the Company recognizes the right of the Union to select one (1) alternate ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ from the shop who may act in the absence of a regular ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. b) The company will compensate the two (2) members of the Bargaining Committee for all scheduled working time lost in attending negotiating meetings with the Company at their respective hourly rate of pay. 4.03 Union Stewards may assist employees working in their respective departments in presenting their complaint to the designated representative of the Company in accordance with the grievance procedure. It is understood that the two (2) employees selected for Executive Officers, shall also act as Stewards and Bargaining Committee. 4.04 It is understood that Union Representatives have their regular work to perform on behalf of the Company and, if it is necessary to service a grievance during working hours, they will not leave their work without obtaining permission of the Plant Manager, or his designate. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. If they have to go to another department other that their own, they must also notify the supervisor of that department of their presence and the reasons therefore. On resuming their regular work, they will advise the Plant Manager, or his designate, of their return. Time spent in servicing grievances during the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ normally scheduled hours of work shall be considered time worked at his normal rate of pay 4.05 The Company agrees to recognize a Union Grievance Committee of not more than two (2) members of the Union Executive. The Company will compensate members of the Grievance Committee for their normally scheduled working time lost in settling of grievances at their respective current hourly rate. 4.06 The Company shall provide the Union with all necessary information relating to the following matters insofar as they concern employees within the bargaining unit on a current basis: a) Job postings; job awards, promotions, demotions and transfers;

Up to three (3) employees, one from each project may be absent at the right same time. Permission for such leave will not be unreasonably withheld when less than five (5) working days’ notice is given. Any employee approved for such leave of absence, will suffer no loss of earnings and will be paid by the employer for all hours that would have otherwise been worked according to the posted schedule for the duration of such leave of absence. Requests for such leaves of not more than absence shall be made at least two (2) members of the Union Executive. (c) A list of employees showing classification, ranked according to seniority. 4.08 The Company shall provide a bulletin board for the use of the Union at appropriate locations upon which the Union shall have the right to post notices of interest to the Union and the employees provided they are initialed by the Plant Manager.
