Common use of Union Representative Clause in Contracts

Union Representative. If an authorized representative, who is not employed by the Company, wants to speak to local union representatives about a grievance or other official business, he shall make a request of the Director Distribution Centre Operations or his designated representative which request shall not be unreasonably withheld. These talks will be arranged so that they will not unduly interfere with production and at an appropriate place where the Union representative may confer privately.
