Common use of Unit Consolidation Clause in Contracts

Unit Consolidation. Nurses from both units will be placed in available jobs in the 7 consolidated unit according to qualifications, on the same shift and status, with seniority 8 controlling placement in cases of conflict. If there are not enough positions for all 9 affected nurses, lay-off rules will apply. 10

Unit Consolidation. Nurses from both units will be placed in available jobs 30 in the 7 consolidated unit according to qualifications, on the same shift and 31 status, with seniority 8 controlling placement in cases of conflict. If there are 32 not enough positions for all 9 affected nurses, lay-off rules will apply. 10.

Nurses from both units will be placed in available 32 jobs in the 7 consolidated unit according to qualifications, on the same shift and code 33 status, with seniority 8 controlling placement in cases of conflict. If there are not enough 34 positions for all 9 affected nurses, lay-off rules will apply. 10.
