Power Factor Design Criteria Developer shall design the Large Generating Facility to maintain an effective power delivery at demonstrated maximum net capability at the Point of Interconnection at a power factor within the range established by the Connecting Transmission Owner on a comparable basis, until NYISO has established different requirements that apply to all generators in the New York Control Area on a comparable basis. The Developer shall design and maintain the plant auxiliary systems to operate safely throughout the entire real and reactive power design range. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall not unreasonably restrict or condition the reactive power production or absorption of the Large Generating Facility in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

Number Resources, Rate Center Areas and Routing Points 8.1 Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to limit or otherwise adversely affect in any manner either Party’s right to employ or to request and be assigned any Central Office Codes (“NXX”) pursuant to the Central Office Code Assignment Guidelines and any relevant FCC or Commission orders, as may be amended from time to time, or to establish, by Tariff or otherwise, Rate Center Areas and Routing Points corresponding to such NXX codes. 8.2 It shall be the responsibility of each Party to program and update its own switches and network systems pursuant to information provided in the LERG in order to recognize and route traffic to the other Party’s assigned NXX codes. Except as expressly set forth in this Agreement, neither Party shall impose any fees or charges whatsoever on the other Party for such activities. 8.3 Unless otherwise required by Commission order, the Rate Center Areas will be the same for each Party. During the term of this Agreement, Onvoy shall adopt the Rate Center Area and Rate Center Points that the Commission has approved for Frontier within the LATA and Tandem serving area. Onvoy shall assign whole NPA-NXX codes to each Rate Center Area unless otherwise ordered by the FCC, the Commission or another governmental entity of appropriate jurisdiction, or the LEC industry adopts alternative methods of utilizing NXXs. 8.4 Onvoy will also designate a Routing Point for each assigned NXX code. Onvoy shall designate one location for each Rate Center Area in which the Onvoy has established NXX code(s) as the Routing Point for the NPA-NXXs associated with that Rate Center Area, and such Routing Point shall be within the same LATA as the Rate Center Area but not necessarily within the Rate Center Area itself. Unless specified otherwise, calls to subsequent NXXs of Onvoy will be routed in the same manner as calls to Xxxxx’s initial NXXs. 8.5 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, nothing in this Agreement is intended, and nothing in this Agreement shall be construed, to in any way constrain Onvoy’s choices regarding the size of the local calling area(s) that Onvoy may establish for its Customers, which local calling areas may be larger than, smaller than, or identical to Frontier’s local calling areas.
Mileage Measurement Where required, the mileage measurement for LIS rate elements is determined in the same manner as the mileage measurement for V&H methodology as outlined in NECA Tariff No. 4.
Power Factor The Power Producer shall maintain the Power Factor as per the prevailing GERC regulations and as may be stipulated / specified by GETCO from time to time. The Power Producer shall provide suitable protection devices, so that the Electric Generators could be isolated automatically when grid supply fails. Connectivity criteria like short circuit level (for switchgear), neutral Grounding, fault clearance time, current unbalance (including negative and zero sequence currents), limit of harmonics etc. shall be as per Grid Code.
Power Factor Design Criteria (Reactive Power A wind generating plant shall maintain a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, measured at the Point of Interconnection as defined in this LGIA, if the ISO’s System Reliability Impact Study shows that such a requirement is necessary to ensure safety or reliability. The power factor range standards can be met using, for example without limitation, power electronics designed to supply this level of reactive capability (taking into account any limitations due to voltage level, real power output, etc.) or fixed and switched capacitors if agreed to by the Connecting Transmission Owner for the Transmission District to which the wind generating plant will be interconnected, or a combination of the two. The Developer shall not disable power factor equipment while the wind plant is in operation. Wind plants shall also be able to provide sufficient dynamic voltage support in lieu of the power system stabilizer and automatic voltage regulation at the generator excitation system if the System Reliability Impact Study shows this to be required for system safety or reliability.
Project Goals The schedule, budget, physical, technical and other objectives for the Project shall be defined.
CONTRACT SUM 9.1.1 The Contract Sum is stated in the State-Contractor Agreement and, including authorized adjustments thereto, is the total amount payable by the State to the Contractor for the performance of the Work under the Contract Documents.
Interest Factor With respect to this Floating Rate Note, accrued interest is calculated by multiplying the principal amount of such Note by an accrued interest factor. The accrued interest factor is computed by adding the interest factor calculated for each day in the particular Interest Reset Period. The interest factor for each day will be computed by dividing the interest rate applicable to such day by 360, in the case of a Floating Rate Note as to which the CD Rate, the Commercial Paper Rate, the Federal Funds Open Rate, the Federal Funds Rate, LIBOR or the Prime Rate is an applicable Interest Rate Basis, or by the actual number of days in the year, in the case of a Floating Rate Note as to which the CMT Rate or the Treasury Rate is an applicable Interest Rate Basis. In the case of a series of Notes that bear interest at floating rates as to which the Constant Maturity Swap Rate is the Interest Rate Basis, the interest factor for each day will be computed by dividing the number of days in the interest period by 360 (the number of days to be calculated on the base is of a year of 360 days with twelve 30-day months (unless (i) the last day of the interest period is the 31st day of a month but the first day of the interest period is a day other than the 30th or 31st day of a month, in which case the month that includes that last day shall not be considered to be shortened to a 30-day month, or (ii) the last day of the interest period is the last day of the month of February, in which case the month of February shall not be considered to be lengthened to a 30-day month)). The interest factor for a Floating Rate Note as to which the interest rate is calculated with reference to two or more Interest Rate Bases will be calculated in each period in the same manner as if only the applicable Interest Rate Basis specified above applied.
Contract Goals A. For purposes of this procurement, OGS conducted a comprehensive search and determined that the Contract does not offer sufficient opportunities to set goals for participation by MWBEs as subcontractors, service providers, or suppliers to Contractor. Contractor is, however, encouraged to make every good faith effort to promote and assist the participation of MWBEs on this Contract for the provision of services and materials. Additionally, following Contract execution, Contractor is encouraged to contact the Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development ((000) 000-0000; (000) 000-0000; or (000) 000-0000) to discuss additional methods of maximizing participation by MWBEs on the Contract. B. Good Faith Efforts Pursuant to 5 NYCRR § 142.8, evidence of good faith efforts shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. A list of the general circulation, trade, and MWBE-oriented publications and dates of publications in which the Contractor solicited the participation of certified MWBEs as subcontractors/suppliers, copies of such solicitations, and any responses thereto. 2. A list of the certified MWBEs appearing in the Empire State Development (“ESD”) MWBE directory that were solicited for this Contract. Provide proof of dates or copies of the solicitations and copies of the responses made by the certified MWBEs. Describe specific reasons that responding certified MWBEs were not selected. 3. Descriptions of the Contract documents/plans/specifications made available to certified MWBEs by the Contractor when soliciting their participation and steps taken to structure the scope of work for the purpose of subcontracting with, or obtaining supplies from, certified MWBEs. 4. A description of the negotiations between the Contractor and certified MWBEs for the purposes of complying with the MWBE goals of this Contract. 5. Dates of any pre-bid, pre-award, or other meetings attended by Contractor, if any, scheduled by OGS with certified MWBEs whom OGS determined were capable of fulfilling the MWBE goals set in the Contract. 6. Other information deemed relevant to the request.
