The contracts will be based on the NEC3 Professional Service Contract. Only tenderers who are B-BBEE status level 1 to 4 contributors and are Exempted Micro Enterprises (EME) or Qualifying Small Enterprises (QSE) are prequalified to submit tender offers in accordance with the provisions of the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2017. Only tenderers who have suitable experience and suitably qualified personnel in providing similar services to those that are required are eligible to submit tenders. Preferance will be given to Professional Service Providers located within the KZN jurisdiction. University Any notice may be served upon the University by delivering it, in writing, to the University at the address set forth on the last page of this Agreement, by depositing it in a United States Postal Service deposit box with the postage fully prepaid and with the notice addressed to the University at the aforementioned address, or by sending a facsimile of it to the University facsimile number set forth on the last page of this Agreement.

PROFESSORS AND RESEARCHERS 1. An individual who visits a Contracting State for the purpose of teaching or carrying out research at a university, college or other recognized educational institution in that Contracting State and who is or was immediately before that visit a resident of the other Contracting State, shall be exempted from taxation in the first-mentioned Contracting State on remuneration for such teaching or research for a period not exceeding two years from the date of his first visit for that purpose.
Middle School At the request of the Superintendent, a middle school teacher may volunteer on a semester basis to teach all the student contact time and be paid one-sixth (1/6) of his/her salary for the semester. This section shall not be used to circumvent the hiring of additional full time teachers.
