– UNPAID PROFESSIONAL IMPROVEMENT LEAVE. This policy specifies the manner in which the Board will regulate professional improvement leaves of teaching staff members taken for the benefit of the schools and this district. The Board reserves the right to specify the condition when not otherwise covered by law or the terms of a negotiated agreement under which such leave may be taken.
