Common use of UNSUBSTANTIATED COSTS Clause in Contracts

UNSUBSTANTIATED COSTS. The Municipality agrees that it shall bear all costs for which it is unable to substantiate actual costs or any costs that have been deemed unallowable by the Federal Highway Administration and/or the Department’s Financial Management Division.  WORK PERFORMED BY NCDOT The Department does not anticipate any charges to this Project; however, in the event that NCDOT needs to charge to the Project, it shall reduce the maximum award amount of $50,000 available to the Municipality under this Agreement. The Department will xxxx the Municipality for any costs that exceed the Total Estimated Cost.
