Upward Reclassification. A) If a position is reclassified upward resulting in a promotion for the incumbent, she shall be paid in accordance with the Salary Adjustment on Promotion provisions. B) If, as a result of a review initiated by the Employer, a position is reclassified upward during the incumbent’s initial probationary period, the employee's rate of pay shall be maintained subject to the new range minimum. For purposes of establishing an increment date only, the provisions of Salary Adjustment on Promotion shall apply. C) If as a result of a successful challenge to the reclassification a permanent employee assumes a position in their former occupation, they will revert to the rate they were being paid prior to the reclassification subject to any increments they would have received had they remained in that occupation.
