Use of Personal Automobiles. A teacher who is required in the course of his/her work to drive a personal automobile from one school building to another shall receive a car allowance equal to the maximum amount allowable by the IRS per mile. This same allowance shall be given to a teacher who uses a personal car for field trips or other approved business of the district.
